Coaching Readiness Assessment

Training to become a coach is a significant professional commitment. Before you begin, it helps to understand where you already have a strong base and where you might want to focus your development. This free assessment gives you an honest picture across the four dimensions that matter most.

Four dimensions of coaching readiness

The assessment looks at the areas that most directly shape how well you will learn and practise coaching from day one.

  1. Core coaching mindset and beliefs Do you align with the fundamental principles and ethics of effective coaching? Your mindset is the foundation everything else is built on.
  2. Interpersonal and communication skills How strong are your abilities to listen actively, build rapport, and communicate with clarity? These skills sit at the core of effective coaching practice.
  3. Personal attributes and resilience How adaptable, self-aware, and resilient are you? Coaching surfaces complexity. The best coaches bring steadiness and self-knowledge to the room.
  4. Motivation and drive What is your underlying passion for coaching and your commitment to the learning process? Motivation sustains you through training and into practice.
